News From the Margin Live Podcast is an extension of the social media-based newsroom -- News From the Margin -- that highlights Las Vegas community affairs, local and global politics, entertainment, Black intellectualism and African American history.
This month our special guest is award-winning community advocate, Leslie Ann Turner, founder of the Mass Liberation Project Las Vegas which seeks to end youth and adult prisons. Turner will open up about what led her down a journey of community advocacy and reconnecting with ancestral practices.
